Consultants

Create agent profiles, assign them to listings, and publish the team archive and profile pages.

What a consultant is

A consultant is an agent profile: a photo, a role, contact details, a bio, and the listings assigned to them. Profiles power the team grid, the contact card on a listing page, and lead routing for inquiries.

They live under Consultants in the admin menu.

Add a consultant

Consultants → Add consultant opens a guided flow. The profile itself is grouped as:

GroupFields
Name & photoConsultant name (the title), Profile photo (featured image), short excerpt
Role & bioPosition (from presets such as Managing Broker or Property Consultant, or Custom), Years of experience, Full bio
ContactProfile email, Office inbox email, Office phone, Mobile, WhatsApp
Social linksFacebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram

Consultant categories groups profiles — by office, department, or specialty — for filtering on the team archive.

Profile email vs office inbox

Both matter, and they are not the same address.

  • Profile email is public: it appears on the profile and the listing contact card.
  • Office inbox email is where inquiries for this consultant’s listings are delivered. Use a monitored inbox — a shared team address is fine.

When both are set, inquiries go to the office inbox. See Inquiries.

Assign a consultant to listings

In the listing editor, Listing details → Consultant & marketing → Assigned consultant.

That single field drives:

  • The contact card and inquiry form on the listing page
  • Which inbox receives inquiries for that listing
  • The listing appearing under Consultant Listings on the profile page
  • Expiry notifications, when consultant emails are enabled

The pages consultants get

PageTemplate
Team archiveThe team archive library template, built with Archive — Team
Consultant profileThe consultant single template, built with Consultant — Masthead, Consultant Bio, and Consultant Listings

Both are installed by demo import and edited in Elementor → Templates → Saved Templates. Consultant profiles are edited through their own admin screen rather than in Elementor, so the template stays a single layout for every profile.

Homepage and sidebar team grids come from the Team and Sidebar — Team widgets, reading either pinned or recent profiles.

Giving a consultant a login

Consultants can have their own WordPress account with the Property agent role, which limits them to their own listings and leads. The consultant wizard can create and link the account, and sends the new user a login-setup email.

Once linked, that agent gets:

  • My profile in wp-admin, editing the public profile fields
  • Optionally, a front-end dashboard instead of wp-admin — see Agent dashboard

Practical notes

  • A consultant with no listings still shows a profile page; the listings section simply stays empty.
  • Removing a consultant leaves their listings without a contact card. Reassign the listings first.
  • Duplicate contact emails across profiles are flagged in the admin, because two profiles sharing an inbox make lead ownership ambiguous.
