Blog & testimonials

The blog archive and single post layouts, sidebar widgets, and client testimonials.

Blog

Posts are ordinary WordPress posts. EstatePoint supplies the layouts.

Both are installed by demo import and bound automatically. Edit them in Elementor → Templates → Saved Templates, or from Theme Options → Blog where the binding cards give you Edit in Elementor and Restore default template.

Theme Options → Blog also holds the layout preset — Left sidebar, Full width (no sidebar), Right sidebar — and Sticky sidebar.

Blog sidebar widgets

Drop these into the sidebar column of either blog template:

Blog on the homepage

The Blog widget renders a post grid on any page. Its Content source reads either pinned posts from Featured Content → Blog or the most recent ones.

Editorial tips for a property site

  • Neighborhood guides rank and convert. Link them to the matching location archive — for example /property-location/lisbon/.
  • Put a Sidebar — Featured listings block on posts so readers land on inventory.
  • Set a featured image on every post; blog cards are image-led.

Testimonials

Testimonials are a small content type under Testimonials with no public pages of their own — they exist to be rendered in carousels.

Testimonial Categories groups them for internal organization.

Where they appear

  • The Testimonials widget — a carousel for the homepage or any page
  • Sidebar — Testimonials — a compact version for archive and blog sidebars

Both read either pinned testimonials from Featured Content → Testimonials or the most recent ones.

Keeping them credible

Use real names, real photos, and the city or property type the client bought. A generic five-star quote with a stock portrait reads as decoration; a specific one reads as proof.
